Big Babe Martin

Guitarist and vocalist Babe Martin is the groove master and driving force behind Chump Change. Babe maintains close contact both on and off stage with many Blues greats such as Johnny Copeland, Albert Collins, and Little Johnny Taylor. He has toured with Abbe Lock, tenor sax man form Chicago, and has plaed a mean second guitar with Albert Collins ans Son Seals. Babe has played with Jimmy Vaughn, Snooks Eglin, Pinetop Perkins, Roy "Guitar" Gains, Larry McCray, Chris Duarte, and Luther Allison, amoung others. He has performed in rhythm and blues, and rock bands for the past 35 years, including Ghetto Band, Kansas City Street Band, Booty Ensemble, and The Jazz LAdds. Babe, who been playing since the age of nine is well known throughout the rhythm and blues circuit. Has has been called the "baddist Blues player in Missouri" with his left handed, upside down playing style and unique style.
