Saxophonist Kenneth Brantley's bepob style compliments Babe's unique guitar sound. Together, they give the band that sweet blend of jazz and blues. He has played with such jazz greats as Lester Bowie, John Hicks, Julius Hemphill, Oliver Lake and Woody Herman, as well as Blues legends Albert King and Little Milton. Kenneth has also played with the Soulsters, the Egyptians and Little Scottie and the Kingsmen. He played with Babe in the Kansas City Street Band, the Jazz Ladds, and the Ghetto Band. Kenneth has been playing for 45 years. As a young man in St. Louis, Kenneth jammed Oliver Saint, David Sandborn, and James Moody.
